SUMMER PILGRIMAGE TO LLANYNYS

The first visit to the
Deaneries of our new Bishop Gregory
Where do we start?
There will be four walking routes
-
Longer route (about 4 miles) starting
from Denbigh (Whitchurch) at 1:30pm
-
Longer route (about 4 miles) starting
from Ruthin (Cattle Auction) at 1:30pm
-
Shorter route (about 2 miles) starting
from Llandyrnog (Hall Car Park) at 1:30pm
-
Shorter route (about 2 miles) from
Rhewl (Pavillion) at 2.15pm
Car parking will be available at or near
the four starting points.
Where are we going?
The ancient Church of Llanynys, the mother
church of the southern Vale of Clwyd, All four routes will converge at
Llanynys at around 3.30pm to 4pm
Who can come?
All are
welcome. Bring all the family. Also dogs are welcome on the walk and in
church.
What do we
need to bring?
-
We shall
have a bring an share picnic, so please bring your own food.

Tea,
coffee and cold drinks will be provided.

We shall
have our picnic outside – weather permitting ! otherwise in church.
What happens next?
After our picnic, we shall
worship together in a short, informal act of worship and Bishop Gregory will
give
the address.
When does it finish?
The worship should be finished
by 4.30pm
Can we come to Llanynys by
car?
We hope everyone will walk but
there will be limited parking (by arrangement) at or near Llanynys Church,
for those unable to make the walk?
